The amount of time you’ll need storage depends on your situation. You can reserve temporary Storage for a move, or long-term storage if that better fits your needs. Enumclaw Self Storage understands that you may not know how long you’ll need storage, and we offer month-to-month leasing so you have the flexibility to move out when the time is right.
Our location has extra wide drive aisles, allowing your rental truck or movers easy access to your unit. If you rent a Easy Drive-Up access unit, you can simply unload your items at your unit. With roll-up doors, free pushcarts and dollies, moving into your storage unit is easy no matter what type you’ve rented.
We advise placing large, heavy items toward the back of your unit and stacking smaller, lighter items on top. Place items you think you’ll be accessing frequently near the front of your unit. Be sure to give yourself a path to quickly maneuver through your storage unit.

We understand that challenges happen in everyone’s life. If you find yourself in a position where you cannot make your payment on time, please contact our office. We will do what we can to work with you to keep your belongings from going to auction. In Washington state, the laws states that if your account has gone past due and has not been paid by the 20th of the month, we must start the pre-lien process, you have two weeks to bring your account current before lien process is started you then have 2 weeks to bring your account current or your belongings will go to auction. Our office attempts to contact you multiple times before the 20th. The Pre-lien and Lien notices are mailed to your address on file. It is vital that you keep your address current with our office to avoid going to auction. Should your unit go to auction, the proceeds from the auction first to the balance on your account, a check will be sent to the address on file. If the amount received is less than the balance on the account, then the account is sent to collections to cover the remaining cost.

We offer a military 10% discount to customers with a valid active service military ID.
Unfortunately, at this time, we do not offer a discount for non-active military or veterans.
Our heated storage units are kept at a mass heat of 55°. This means that the radiant heat from the floor where your belongs sit is kept at 55° minimum temperature regardless of outside weather conditions. By keeping your storage in a more stable environment, you minimize the risk of potential warping, tearing, cracking and fading due to temperature fluctuation.
We use radiant heated floors in our heated storage units providing a constant supply to your stored goods year round. Enumclaw Self Storage offers heated storage inside and Easy Drive Up Access.

Even during power outages your belongings are always secure. The fence is monitored and alarmed 24/7 by security experts and local police.
Individualized personal codes must be used to enter and exit the facility and in cases where units are located inside our building this code also necessary to access your unit.
Finally our state of-the-art video surveillance cameras monitor the premises 24/7 enhancing the security of our storage facility.
Our dedicated on-site maintenance team ensures that our facility is well-maintained and in optimal condition for your storage needs.
Yes! We offer packing and moving supplies for purchase on-site to give you a seamless move-in process. Including boxes, sofa cover, chair covers, mattress bag, tape, packing paper, mover’s wrap, small enviro bubble wrap, trailer wiring adapter, and moving blankets.
For an additional fee the office can accept packages for you. Any packages received will be held in the office for 48 hours for you to claim.
Pushcarts and or dollies are available accessed by inside hallways. If you are renting an inside unit and need a pushcart, please let the facility manager know and they will be happy to assist you.

Our custom made elevators are oversized 5’ft by 9’ft stainless steel to accommodate large items. Elevator door allows access only to the floor your unit is on and opens by entering

Roll-up doors are garage style doors and are accessed by sliding a latch and lifting the door upward. Roll-up doors are the most common door in self storage and are bigger than most doors. This allows a greater ease of access, especially with larger or bulky items, allowing tenants to maximize the space of their unit.
Roll-up doors might knock over boxes if stacked too high. It is incredibly important to plan for the door, and to not stack boxes too high.
Indoor storage units are located inside. You cannot access your unit without first going into a building. Outdoor storage units are located on the ground floor and are easily accessible without needing to go into a building to do so. Each unit type offers its own pros, which may be valuable to people in different situations.
There is nothing quite as bad as having to make multiple trips to your car or truck to load the storage unit. Our properties have wide aisles, this allows truck easy navigation of the aisles, and allows you to park right outside your easy drive up unit.
The office hours are the hours of operation for the property when the facility manager will be available to assist you with your storage needs or moving and packing supplies. Our office hours are 9am through 6 pm Sunday through Saturday, Accept major holidays, The gate hours are the hours your rental unit can be accessed using your assigned electric gate code, from 5am to 11pm Sunday through Saturday

Reservation and Leasing Questions
Making a reservation is easy. Simply call, text, or email us, and our team will assist you in finding the perfect storage solution for your needs.
Generally we can accommodate reservations within 24 hours of the reservation.
The leases offer are month-to-month. Whether you need only need it for a month or much longer, there is no need to sign an additional lease to accommodate a greater need. Stay for as long as you will need storage without fear of lengthy commitments.

Yes. Storing with Enumclaw Self Storage requires a month to month rental agreement.
While we can make exceptions for legal guardians or authorized business agents, we maintain that only the tenant name be on the lease can sign.
Yes by Law, Fire Department requires that we are able to access your unit.
Yes, you can give access to a family member by providing them with your security code and key.
The admin fee is collected to process the necessary paperwork into our system as well as create a secure access for you within our gate system.
Enumclaw Self Storage Guarantees that there will never be a registration or administration fee.
When you complete. Your registration in our office, along with a copy of your lease agreement and receipt of your payment, you will receive a lock and key for your unit.
We ask that you give us notice by the 10th of the month you are moving out. This let’s us know what units will be available the following month and also ensures you received your refund. You do have until the end of the month to move out, we do not pro-rate your move out month. Of course, we understand that thing happen and you may not be able to give us notice by the 10th. Rest assured we will not hold you or your belongings hostage, you can still move out, however, you will forfeit your deposit if notice has not been give by the 10th.

Unit the move-in is finalized, there is still time to move to a different unit— provided it is available. If there is a unit that would better meet your needs available, our facility managers will be able to easily assist with a unit transfer.
When you sign the lease, we ask for $55 deposit. Which includes a lock and keys.
Provided you have given notice by the 10th of the month you are moving out, have swept the unit, and returned the lock and keys, a refund check will be mailed to you within two weeks of move out. Please make sure to update your address with the office, if necessary.
Enumclaw Self Storage guarantees that a Customer’s rent will not be increased for two years from the Agreement date.
Insurance
Yes, you are responsible for the items you store at Enumclaw Self Storage, and Insurance for those items is required. We offer affordable third party insurance/ protection plan options at the facility. In the event that you are already covered, a copy of the declarations page must be available at the time of rental.
Your exciting homeowners or renter insurance policy may offer “off-premises” coverage for your personal property, which can include items in a storage unit. However, these policies often have limits on the amount of coverage for “off-premises items”, typically around 10% of your total personal coverage.
We offer insurance through Storsmart Insurance program. For an additional fee you can get coverage for your belongings valued up to $7,500. The coverage rates and current premiums are as follows
- $2500 for $11/month
- $3000 for $13/month
- $5000 for $22.50/month
- $7500 for $33.50/month
Knowing your belongs are insured can provide peace of mind, especially if you store valuable items.
Be aware of any limits on coverage, especially for valuable items, and consider purchasing additional coverage if needed.
Check your policy for any exclusions, such as damage for pests, foods, or earthquakes, and consider purchasing additional coverage for these perils if necessary.
It’s a good idea to keep a detailed inventory of your stored items, including their value and receipts, to help with filing a claim if necessary
Payment Information
Your rent is due at move in and due on the 1st of each month you continue to rent the storage unit.
To keep you and your information secure we have set up our online customer center, You can also stop by the office, or mail a check directly to Enumclaw Self Storage.
We offer the convenience of AutoPay, Which will automatically charge. Your Mastercard, Discover, Visa, or American Express each month on the first of the month without additional fees.
Manage your storage payments easily with our user-friendly online bill pay system, providing a convenient and secure way to stay up to date on your account.
Simplify your storage experience by setting up automatic payments, ensuring that your bills are paid on time without the hassle of manual transaction.
The answer is yes and no. Due to the high risk of fraudulent charges on debit and credit cards we prefer not to take your card information over the phone. However, we can take your information in person and save it on your account on our secure server. When we do this our staff can only see the last four digits of your card number and expiration date. This ensures that you can feel confident that your information cannot be stolen and used by others. Once your card information has been saved to your account simply call when your payment is due, give us your unit number and ask us to charge your card on file. We will process your payment and email you a receipt for the payment.
To avoid any fees please pay by the 6th of the month. If you would like to avoid the fee, We would suggest you setup autopay or mail your payment directly to the location.
After the 6th of the month your gate code will not work until payment is received.
A reminder notice is sent on the 10th of the month with a $5 fee being added to your balance. If payment still has not been received on the 13th a late fee of $20 or 20% – which is higher – will be added to your balance.

Our standard office hours are 9am to 6pm Sunday through Saturday. Only closed: New Year’s Day, July 4th, Labor Day Thanksgiving and Christmas, and Easter.

Not Allowed
Our elevator and gate lock down at 11pm. If you have not excited by 11pm you Will be locked in the facility and must call the non-emergency police line (360) 825 – 3505 to be let out.
- Perishable items: Food (canned, packaged, or fresh) and beverages, including bottled water, are not allowed due to the risk of spoilage and pest infestations.
- Living Things: No animals, plants, or any other living organisms may be stored in the unit.
- Illegal Items: Stolen property or any other items obtained through illegal means are strictly forbidden. Illegal substances, including drugs or paraphernalia, cannot be stored.
- Hazardous or Flammable Materials: Gasoline, propane, kerosene, oil, or other fuels; fireworks, explosives, or other incendiary devices; toxic chemicals or substances that pose a safety risk.
